STANDARD RATE
These conditions apply to all sales concluded with SENSE OF OFIR, (with the exception of group bookings). Therefore, the customer acknowledges having read these general conditions of sale and undertakes to respect them. These conditions of sale are modifiable at any time, and the conditions applicable will be those in force on the date when the reservation will be carried out.
ARTICLE 1 - RATES
Rates shown are in € (euro) and all taxes, and take into account the VAT applicable on the day of booking. Any change in the applicable rate, or any modification or introduction of new legal fees introduced by the competent authorities, will be reflected automatically on the prices indicated on the date of invoicing.
Rates are per room for the number of people shown and depending on the period selected and do not include benefits (unless otherwise stated).
The tourist tax is included in the price displayed. It applies from May 1st to September 30th of each year.
Some services may be subject to a surcharge and may be subject to modifications without prior notice, in no way incurring the responsibility of the hotel.
No stay booked before the implementation of any promotional offer will be subject to refund, even partial.
ARTICLE 2 - RESERVATIONS AND MEANS OF PAYMENT
Reservations can be made on www.senseofofir.com, by phone, by e-mail or by post. The reservation will be effective only if the latter is guaranteed by the customer, either by communicating a credit card number with validity date or by deposit, and after receiving a detailed booking confirmation. The payment of all services will be done directly with the hotel (exceptions made for pre-paid bookings at the time of booking). The hotel reserves the right to refuse any booking in case the credit card number is incorrect or the reservation is incomplete. Bookings regardless of their origin will be payable in € (euro) only. SENSE OF OFIR accepts the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, and has a secure booking system (SSL) that protects and encrypts all sensitive data transmitted to the reservation to prevent disclosure to a third party. When booking the reservation, a credit card debit authorization will be made. This will be done for informational purposes, and will under no circumstances be charged to the account except in the following cases:
- Promotional offer "non-cancellable- non-refundable".
- If the validity date of the credit card is before the arrival date.
- If the arrival date is more than 89 days from the booking date. The customer is solely responsible for his choice of services and their suitability for his needs, so that the responsibility of SENSE OF OFIR can not be sought in this regard.
ARTICLE 3 - FORCE MAJEURE
By force majeure is meant any event external to the parts presenting a character at once unpredictable and insurmountable which prevents the customer in the realization of the trip, to fulfill all or part of the obligations envisaged by the contract. This will be the case in the case of a transportation strike, hotel staff, government or public riots.
Cancellation due to force majeure
The guest can cancel free of charge until 30 days before arrival if Departure/Arrival airport is closed and / or borders are closed. Government advice (orange code, travel advice, etc.) are not a reason for cancellation and won't be accepted. A voucher will be given to the guest, the value of this voucher will be the amount of the booking payment.
If the guests cancel within the 30 days before arrival, they will be charge the total price of the reservation. No refund or voucher will be given.
ARTICLE 4 - MODIFICATION AND CANCELLATION OF STAY
Any modification or cancellation of reservation must be the subject of a request by email to [email protected]. The request will not become effective until SENSE OF OFIR has confirmed its acceptance in writing. In case of modification or cancellation of stay, the following conditions apply (except in cases of force majeure): For bookings made via the website of our partners, cancellation must be made via this site. The cancellation conditions that apply are then unique to the partner and may therefore be different from those of SENSE OF OFIR. In case of extension of stay, the customer will have to inform the reception of the hotel at 10:00 at the latest the day of the envisaged departure, to know the availabilities.
ARTICLE 5 - HOTEL AND SERVICES
For reasons of safety and hygiene, pets are not allowed in the establishment. Rooms are available from 16:00 and must be vacated by 11:00 on the day of departure. An additional charge may be charged for failure to respect the maximum time of departure. In case of arrival after 20:00, reception must be notified. The customer accepts and agrees to use the room as a good father. Also, any behavior contrary to morality and public order will cause the hotel to ask the customer to leave the establishment without any compensation and / or no refund if a payment has already been made.
ARTICLE 6 - DELUSION
In the event of unavailability of SENSE OF OFIR or in the event of force majeure, the latter reserves the right to have the client fully or partially housed in a hotel of equivalent or higher category, offering services of the same kind. The transfer will then be the responsibility of the hotelier who can not be sought in payment of any additional compensation.
ARTICLE 7 - CLAIMS
Any complaint must be addressed to SENSE OF OFIR by registered letter A / R, and this within 15 days following the departure of the stay which is the object of the said claim. After this period, no claim can be taken into account.
ARTICLE 8 - COMPUTING AND FREEDOM
SENSE OF OFIR offers WiFi internet access. The client user agrees that the computer resources made available will not be used in any way for reproduction, representation, provision or communication to the public of works or objects protected by a copyright, by a neighboring right such as texts, images photographs, audiovisual musical works, software and video games, without the authorization of the holders of the rights provided for in Books I and II of the Intellectual Property Code when this authorization is required. SENSE OF OFIR has a CCTV system in the public areas of the building and the car park.
ARTICLE 9 - RESPONSIBILITIES
The hotel declines any responsibility in case of theft, loss or damage to the belongings of the guests during their stay. The customer will be held responsible for any damage, deterioration or vandalism that may occur due to the occupancy of the premises and / or by the participants and / or the staff in his charge movable, decorative and real estate property belonging or not to the hotel. Therefore, SENSE OF OFIR can ask the customer to leave the establishment without any compensation and without any refund of the current stay, and to refund the damage caused by these acts. Tobacco: - Rooms and common areas are non-smoking areas. The Anti-smoking law is a public health law. It is forbidden to smoke, even open window, in the rooms. In case of non respect, the refurbishment of the room will be charged € 100 / night. Degradation : - In the event of damage to a room or common areas, the management reserves the right to charge the amount of one extra night in order to restore the room. Art.10- APPLICABLE LAW These Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by Portuguese law. Litigation will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Portuguese courts. If the guest doesn't show up, they will be charged the total price of the reservation.

CUSTOMER CANCELLATION
You must let us know about your cancellation decision by email by ensuring its good reception with our services. The date of reception of this letter that will determine the date of your cancellation. The cancellation, whatever the date, does not dispense you from the full payment of the sums due. The refund procedure can only take place under this condition. In the event of cancellation by the customer less than 30 days before arrival, 100% of the reservation will be charged (except additional mentions on the booking confirmation or special rates/offers). Non-refundable rate: The amount due is not refundable even if the booking is cancelled or modified.
